Edit button in your WordPress posts (Basic)
Adding an Edit button to your wordpress posts
So , after a long time ; back ,and from today we will work harder and publish good posts so all our audience can enjoy being with us . so , lets start
in many cases the writer of a blog , needs to edit his/her post sometimes and when the posts are too much, it’s a little hard to find the post from admin panel , and ferther more it takes time to find and open the editor . so today we will teach you a small php code that you can add a simple EDIT BUTTON in every posts , and you can go to the post you need editing it and simply press the edit button and redirect to the editor page and from there you can do whatever you want.
it’s as easy as you can think , just go to your theme directory of wordpress or from admin menu of wordpress go to edit the template
Choose Single.php ( the posts file ) and find the place you want to put the edit button and add the code blow as it is .
'<p class="Class name of button">'
- the best place i think is at the end of every post , if you agree with me add the code at the end part of the post in single.php , where we have a ” <div class=”clear”></div> ” you can add the button in any other place needed
- instead of
Class name of buttonyou must put a name of a button class that make a button shape for the edit text , like the pic blow , or if you don’t know what to do , just delet the p class completely
