Oppo’s VOOC Flash Charge Tech as fast as You imagine
Oppo is very proud of their VOOC Flash Charge technology. We’ve actually talked at length about this tech last month, so check that out if you’d like to get to know more details than we’ll share here. Oppo presented VOOC Flash Charge when they released their Find 7 phablet back in 2014 and the company claims that it can charge a 3,000mAh battery from 0 to 75% in just half an hour. Well, we made sure of that a number of times before, and I believe so have many of you. Anyhow, Oppo has decided to show the world how fast is their VOOC Flash Charge technology compared to the competition, let’s see what’s what.
The company has posted a video on YouTube called ‘Do you even CHARGE?’ in order to prove how fast their charging technology truly is. If you take a look at the embedded video below this article you’ll get to see VOOC Flash Charge in action while charging the Oppo N3. Oppo has decided to charge up the Samsung Galaxy S6, iPhone 6 Plus and the Nexus 6 alongside their current flagship. The N3 managed to charge all the way up to 69% in just 29 minutes, while other handsets weren’t even close to that. Google’s Nexus 6 phablet managed to reach 34%, the Galaxy S6 got all the way up to 24% and the iPhone 6 Plus was the worst performer here, it managed to charge only up to 11%. Truth be said, not all of these handsets have the same battery capacity. The Nexus 6 and Oppo N3 have the biggest batteries, 3,000mAh and 3,220mAh respectively. The iPhone 6 Plus sports a 2,550mAh battery and the Galaxy S6 ships with a 2,550mAh unit. Truth be told, Oppo N3 doesn’t have the biggest battery capacity out of the bunch, but is a close second.
So, as you can see, Oppo’s VOOC Flash Charge completely crushed the other two flagships as far as charging speed goes. That might not be the most important things to most of you, but it’s always nice to have a device which charges up as far as the Oppo units which support VOOC Flash Charge.
